Galentine’s Day: Valentine’s Day cooler, lesser-known sister holiday. Galentine’s Day, made famous by Parks and Recreation’s Leslie Knope, is all about celebrating female love (and empowerment). Here are three cute DIY gifts for $10 and under that are perfect for your besties.

  1. A Succulent that Doesn’t Suck

These days, it seems succulents are becoming the “go to” gift. But adding a cute mug can separate your gift from the rest. Mugs can be found everywhere, including thrift stores, so you can be sure this gift doesn’t leave you broke.

Total Cost: $6

  1. The “Tea-rrific” gift

This gift is perfect for the avid tea drinker and is super easy to make. Grab a container (mine is from TJ Maxx) or a mason jar, get some tea bags and put them inside of the container. Add some “honey stir sticks” for extra flair (also found at TJ Maxx).

Total Cost: $10

  1. The ‘Treat Yo Self’ mug

Nothing says “girls night in” like a face mask and some Dove chocolate. This gift is not only fun for both you and your bestie, but the mug can be used to enjoy delicious beverages in the future. In place of the face mask, sheet masks are a great alternative that can be found for cheap.

Total Cost: $10

Make this Galentine’s day special between you and your besties and spend quality time without spending too much money.
