the keeping room_movie_jenkinsAAmidst the many films I had the pleasure of seeing at this year’s Cleveland Film Festival, none struck me so much as Daniel Barber’s The Keeping Room. While there were numerous amazing films there and too many to possibly see in one weekend, out of the ones I saw, The Keeping Room stuck in the throats of the audience. It was easy to look around and see the horrified, teary-eyed faces in the audience and instantly know that this film was having the sort of impact that more movies should. Clarkson helped change music and the entertainment industry forever when she won the famous singing competition’s inaugural season way back in 2002. She released a Christmas album in 2013, but it was before that, in 2011, when Clarkson dropped her last non-holiday album. Clarkson has had a busy past few years; she dabbled in country music collaborations, got married and had a baby. But now she’s back at it with a brand new pop LP.
